It has been a privilege to have been a student at Sciences-Po, Paris. The past two years have been a wonderful learning experience not just professionally but culturally as well. At the School of Journalism, Sciences-Po I trained and worked with professionals renowned in France and in Europe. In addition my constant interaction with students from diverse backgrounds has helped me grow in a number of ways. I find the French education system well balanced since internships are an integral part of it: an ideal way to put theory into practice. My internships gave me an opportunity to hone my skills and helped understand the professional world in a much better way.
Studying in
France exposes you to the pulse
of Europe and Paris is
definitely the gateway to
mainland Europe. France is a
very open tolerant and diverse
society and one will benefit
immensely by being exposed to
the culture.
Of course what I did not add is
that, don’t be stupid enough not
to meet the Edu France counselor
early :-)
N+i program
gave me a tremendous opportunity
to come to France and a platform
to excel ,learn n grow. However,
you need to have a vision along
with a dream, its not a cakewalk
until n unless you are really
focused.
The INSAs have a world wide
reputation for their
achievements in the field of
Science and Research and it has
been pleasure to be a part of
this institute. The courses were
really good, especially the labs
and the infrastructure to
support project work in final
year of the M-tech.

Technologies LtdThe International MBA in Grenoble was a rigorous course with plenty of classroom sessions, case study assignments and finally the industrial internship coupled with a 25000 word thesis. The multicultural classroom with people from Peru, El Salvador, China, Japan, Mexico, Canada, all across Europe meant that we learnt a lot from each other. And then of course skiing, wine and the French cuisine ...
AmrithaFrance is widely known for its culture and civilisation. Coming to France has been a culturally enriching experience. I am studying at Sciences Po, Paris and life there is particularly satisfying because there are many international students from virtually all over the world. It provides a valuable insight into the various different cultures in the world and reminds one that the world is a small place. The quality of education is great and helps one adapt to virtually any situation that one might face in life as the exercises and teaching methods are very different from what we have experienced in India. I have an Eiffel scholarship by Egide of 1181 euros a month and it is a rather generous amount, probably the maximum one can hope to get from the government of France. One can live very comfortably with this amount even assuming one is renting a studio in Paris. And this scholarship is certainly a great option if you want to live in another, smaller city. On the whole, studying in France is a highly satisfying and enriching experience and a very good alternative to the other, more popular destinations like the UK or the US
AmrithaI am currently working as a
designer in Paris after a
Masters in Fashion products
management from ESSCA. During my
stay I visited all the fashion
shows and exhibitions that I
always dreamt of. Through this
international exposure I came to
know different cultures without
traveling much. I thank the
CampusFrance desk and their
efficient counselors who
provided me with the right
information.
